Created by writer/producers Chuck Lorre (of Two and a Half Men ) and Bill Prady (of Gilmore Girls ) comes The Big Bang Theory, a sitcom that shows what happens when hyperintelligent roommates/physicists Sheldon and Leonard meet Penny, a beautiful woman moving in next door--and realize they know next to nothing about life outside of the lab. Rounding out the crew are the smarmy Wolowitz, who thinks he's as sexy as he is brainy, and Koothrappali, who suffers from an inability to speak in the presence of a woman. The show distinguishes itself by being unafraid to toss scientific references and technobabble into an otherwise standard sitcom, even employing a physicist to keep things accurate. Based on the popular book series of the same name, this drama gives viewers a peek into the world of privileged teenagers on an elite private school in New York City. The story is written by The O.C.s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, and directed by Mark Piznarski who has worked on series like Everwood and Veronica Mars. Surfaces Leighton Meester and Accepteds Blake Lively have taken the lead roles in this drama series. They will play Blair and Serena respectively, rich Manhattan rivals at a private school in New York. The last additions to this new CW drama are Misconceptions Taylor Momsen, The Covenants Chace Crawford and The Bedford Diaries Penn Badgley. Their characters are Momsen as Jenny a 14 year-old and shy girl, Nate the good looking boyfriend of Blair, and Dan the secret admirer of Serena. E-Ring Kelly Rutherford and The Jurys has been cast as the mother of lead role Serena. Rutherford will play the mother of Serena van der Woodsen (Livelys character), a former ballerina and rock groupie. Afterlifes Ed Westwick has been cast as Chuck Bass and Brothers and Sisters Matthew Settle has been cast as Jenny and Dans father, Rufus Humphrey.

How I Met Your Mother is a comedy about Ted (Josh Radnor) and how he fell in love. It all starts when Teds best friend, Marshall (Jason Segel), drops the bombshell that hes going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily (Alyson Hannigan), a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realizes that he had better get a move on if he too hopes to find true love.
